Aimtop M4 Polymer Body AEG
This is what started the resurgence of Airsoft - we were walking around Anime Expo 2013's Exhibit Hall when we stumbled across the Evike booth....
It was there that I made the impulse buy of this AEG and a few fancy .45 Gas Blowback pistols. Lessons learned include - 1 - the show special is
not always a good idea....the motor grip housing was bad, everything else more or less ok - but it really was a show special - lower end at low cost...
Well - knowing me that would never last lol - and so it was that I discovered another Airsoft shop - Airsoftmaster in Buena Park. There I met Marc &
Kelvin - a pair of stand up guys who helped me transform this beast from basic standard to not half bad - not bad at all =)
Upgrades include:
G&P Full Metal RIS system that replaced the stock handguard.
Outer Barrel replacement and a new handguard cap to retain the RIS - also upgrade with a faux gas tube to help retention.
PEQ box battery - moving the old handgrip battery outside the RIS in a way that looks good =) awesome part the rail groove works like a sight
Metal Birdcage Flash-hider - for looks - great part is I still have the orange one too for actual play (stupid California regulations)
Ambidex Sling mount on the buffer tube - for those 1 point and 2 point slings
AIM 4x32 Red dot with quick sight above and tri-rail mount - great optic love the look

All in all she turned out well, cost a pretty penny to upgrade but Marc at Airsoftmaster did some top knotch work with this diamond in the rough.
