Checkit Products SuperStock aka the Box Gun
Back in 1993 in the island state of Hawaii, I was a regular on the field and a young man and his girlfriend had purchased two CIP Superstock Box Guns but couldnt get them to work. Being the helpful fellow that I was - I took both of them and tuned em up and when next I met the owners - was thanked for my work but told "We got a couple automags and we dont need the box guns anymore - want them for $50 ea?" I was like .... "ummmm.....gotta give you at least $100 each...." so the owner says "$75 each and done!" and so it was I got a pair....few months later Jason Kondo says to me "Hey Ryan, I can make that Box gun use a quick change that will look totally cool!" One AGD vert adapter, lots of work, a few weeks of tuning later - PRESTO - One of the earliest vertical box guns ever made (2 of 2, the first prototype now owned by Raymond Uyehara last I knew)
