SCXL Pump Event at SCXL #2 The Compound at Jungle Island Lake Elsinore, CA
May 3, 2008 - The boys in gray took the field in a new venue - the SCXL's first ever 3 man pump event at the Compound at Jungle Island in Lake Elsinore, CA. Being the first foray into pump for the SCXL the event had a few hiccups.... The paint was great for semi....but for pump play it caused many a bounce all day long.... Sideline coaching made for a very different environment where run throughs were often punished by a timely warning from the crowd... even some controversial calls (why on earth would a semi event trained ref call a pump player on splatter???) ah well... in the end the boys brought home 9th and some new experiences out at the field. That having been said - there was much to be said about the Compound and its setup - Bunkers were solidly placed and well maintained, field parking was right up against the fields, and the netting and amenities were outstanding - its just so far to drive... if only it were closer I would have said omg a new home... ah well hehehe - Without further ado - The PICS!!!!

Outstanding field setup and equipment - note how well anchored the air bunkers are - and SAFELY done - literally the best setup I have seen since Huntington Beach.
